Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered - A Kaiju Brawler for the Ages, is poised to be released on 3rd of November 2026.
🎮 For Gamers
As most people are eagerly waiting for the release of GTA 6... The most anticipated piece of entertainment media ever. The devs of other studio have been steering clear of November 2026 release Window. November 2026 is drier than sahara desert in terms of games releases. But there is one studio which is ready to take on the industry giant all alone, standing with a face of defiance against the industry gaint Rockstar Games.
Developer Pipeworks Studios and publisher Atari have revealed Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, and it's launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on November 3. As the name implies, it's a remaster of the original 2002 kaiju brawler hit (at least in my living room), Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee.Â
When it launches this November, the remaster will bring enhanced visuals, an improved unlock system, quality-of-life improvements, and more to the original experience. It will also include the addition of online multiplayer, allowing you to duke it out in Versus or Melee modes, both online and via local couch co-op.Â
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered will feature 12 monsters to unlock and choose from, including, of course, the big man himself, Godzilla, alongside King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Rodan, and plenty more.Â
If you're interested in a physical edition of the game, Atari is publishing one for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2... Yeah, take that GTA 6. The game will be available on November 3 digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.Â
Note that this post will contain currently unconformed info:
1. The game will feature mostly the exact same roster at the original release with one exception. The roster will consist of Heisei Godzilla, Godzilla 2000, Anguirus, Megalon, Gigan, Rodan, King Ghidorah, Mecha King Ghidorah, Destoroyah, Kiryu and Orga. It is currently unknown which versions of Anguirus, Rodan, or Gigan will be used.
2. Heisei Mecha-Godzilla has been removed from the lineup and replace by Showa Mecha-Godzilla. This is not a skin, he is now our new final boss.
3. Every stage from the GameCube release is returning, that being Seattle, Tokyo, San Francisco, London, Los Angeles, Osaka, Monster Island, and The Mothership. No word on the Xbox stages Vortaak, Boxing Ring and Thrashburg but it seems they won't make it despite Kiryu being added.
4. The stages will be bigger than they were before.
5. (Unconfirmed) The Adventure mode will be slightly different. Each run will now be more unique to each specific monster including unique endings.
6. Online multiplayer is included and will be cross platform. Unfortunately it is limited to only two players.
7. Destruction mode is returning including a potentially new mode wherein destroying buildings makes your kaiju grow stronger.
8. Another new mode is called Tournament Mode. We currently have no info what this is.
9. (Unconfirmed) Monster movesets may be slightly tweaked with supposedly Godzilla 90's getting his Save The Earth rage move instead of sharing it with 2000.
10. (Unconfirmed) Battra will be added as a power up alongside Mothra.
11. (Unconfirmed) Toho current has no plans to add DLC or expand the roster.

🔧 For Developers
Nothing much for developer at this point. As a developer we can keep an eye out fro this game. Does this game catch the essence of the original or does it fall flat on its face
